Monica Trieu, DDS
Dr. Monica Trieu has developed a hands-on and personal approach to cosmetic and restorative dentistry, perfected over more than two decades in the dental field.
While Dr Trieu has been a Dentist since 1996, she has been in dentistry for most of her life. When most high schoolers were worried about what to wear to the senior prom, a young Monica was working in a dental office.
Dr. Trieu earned her Biological Sciences degree from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the prestigious School of Dentistry at UCLA. It was at UCLA where she showed a special knack for restoring teeth with composite fillings, earning her the moniker “The Composite Queen.”
Even as a student, Dr Trieu recognized the value of preserving teeth with composite fillings instead of grinding them down to stumps for crowns. This has become a main focus of her practice.
Dr Trieu is a published author, as her implant and cosmetic dentistry cases have been featured in the prestigious California Dental Association Journal.

Her community involvement included serving as the Dental Director for the Laguna Beach Community Clinic and assisting with the Share OurSelves organization, providing dental care for the underprivileged community.
In her free time, Dr. Trieu enjoys cycling with her husband, yoga, TRX workouts, and Archery.
